the Park Vista Cobras for the first matchup between the two schools.

(Orlando), St. Edwards (Vero Beach) and Wellington.
Friday, March 5, 2010
Lady Chiefs Lacrosse made their first overnight road trip in
the history of their young program. Timber Creek High School has
been about as solid a lacrosse program as you will find in Florida.
The Lady Chiefs felt confident going into the week with prediction of
nice cool weather in Central Florida. When the Chiefs took
the field under the lights the temperature was a frosty 38 degrees.
Cardinal Gibbons scored on the opening draw and the first ten minutes
looked solid for the Chiefs. Timber Creek kicked it into gear and
took advantage of too many dropped balls by Gibbons and by half-time
they were up by eight. Cold weather aside, the opponent and
entire experience was first rate. The game ended in a 21-10 loss.

Under the lights at Boca Raton High Stadium, Cardinal
Gibbons faced a very tough Bobcats team. Boca
Raton returned most of their 2009 (8-6) team from last season.
Gibbons raced out to a 4-1 lead and never looked back capping the
evening at 13-7. The evening was experimental in nature trying lots of
new players into different systems of play. Freshman standout
Lauren Burns had an outstanding game on both sides of the field.
Varsity Soccer players, Jenny Grant, Sarah Motta, Maylis Broderick Megan
Renne and Jen Snyder, had a solid evening of play with only two weeks of
practice. A hallmark of Gibbons coaching is having balance
offensive weaponry. Goals were scored by Sarah Motta (5), Maylis
Broderick (2), Megan Renne (2), Erin Nunziante, (1), Kiera Moran (1)
Katherine Clementi (1) and Lauren Burns (1). Shannon Weicz has
another solid performance in goal with her third varsity start.
The Lady Chiefs are 3-0.

different Gibbons players including Erin Nunziante (4), Maylis Broderick
(2), Sarah Motta (2) and Megan Renne (2), Kiera Moran (1), Lauren
Holsinger (1). Junior Shannon Weicz and Sophomore Jacqueline Seiler
split goal duty.
Wednesday, February 10, 2010

NBPS is a young team. Erin Nunziante led the attack with
seven goals and senior Samantha Gomez had three goals on 3 for 3
shooting and sophomore Hartland McDonald scored her career first goal. Jacqueline Seiler debuted in goal for the first
and looked very strong.
